THE CHILDRENS ARK KINDERGARTEN282 Glenvar Road ~ Long Bay
Children’s Ark is a small, friendly kindergarten based at Long Bay Baptist Church in Torbay. We cater for a maximum of 19 children aged between 2yrs, 6 months and 5 yrs. Each session is run by between 2 and 3 teachers depending on the number of children, giving a minimum ration of one teacher to eight children.
We encourage children to explore independently in a safe environment, learning through play, making choices, thus becoming empowered to be creative, imaginative and resourceful, solving problems, whilst having fun in the process.
At the heart of our teaching practice we value, and share our Christian faith by upholding Christian values and beliefs in our community based early childhood centre.
Session times:
9.00 am – 12.00 am Monday to Friday.
12.30 pm – 2.30 pm Tuesday afternoons: Ready for School programme (4 yr olds only)
Session cost:
$14 / session (WINZ subsidies available for anyone who qualifies for these)
